Resident Physician

FQHC TRACK RESIDENT: SILER CITY

Hello! My name is Will and I am grateful to serve the people of North Carolina as a family doctor. I was born and raised in Rocky Mount, NC where I attended public school until going to North Carolina State University for a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. NC State gave me the opportunity to explore a hopeful career in medical anthropology, and while studying diabetes management abroad in rural western Guatemala, I realized for the first time the impact of healthcare access on one’s health and happiness. After college (and a career change) while serving as a MedServe Fellow at a family medicine clinic in rural western NC, I found my passion for preventive health interventions and lifestyle medicine, which can empower patients to take the resources at their disposal and turn them into what they need to live the lives they choose. I am so thankful to have been accepted to both UNC School of Medicine and the UNC Family Medicine Residency programs where I can learn alongside experts in the field and from the people I hope to serve throughout my career.

Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my lovely wife, daughter, and cats. We love to cook, crochet, watch movies, get outside, and visit friends and family.
