Edward graduated from Johns Hopkins University in May of 2015 as a pre-med student with a B.A. in Spanish. In his most recent research, Edward won The Hopkins Program in Latin American Studies Grant and traveled to Cuenca, Ecuador where he carried out medical anthropological research about the Ecuadorean health care system. At the Berg lab, Edward is excited to work on both gene curation with “ClinGen” and on English to Spanish interpretation with NCGENES and NCNEXUS. Originally from Florida, Edward is an avid tennis player, playing four years on the Johns Hopkins Varsity team. In his free time he enjoys playing guitar, singing, exercising, and reading. He speaks English, Spanish, and limited French.

Edward left Summer 2016 to attend medical school at Florida State University.
