Rachel Phillips graduated in 2022 with her B.A. in Biology and a minor in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has experience working in administrative roles in clinical healthcare settings, and she plans to pursue graduate education in Genetic Counseling. During her time as an undergraduate student at UNC, she was co-president of the American Sign Language club and the UNC Ballroom Dance Team.

 

Rachel works in the Department of Genetics as a Project Coordinator for the Program for Precision Medicine in Health Care (PPMH) and a Research Technician for the Berg Lab. Within PPMH, she is involved with the Clinical Genomic Analysis (GENYSIS), Precision Analytics, and Precision Health Genetic Screen (PHGS) initiatives. In her spare time, Rachel is a competitive ballroom dancer and remains involved with the team at UNC Chapel Hill.
