William Hannah is a medical geneticist in the UNC Cancer and Adult Genetics Clinic. He has training in clinical genetics and genomics, medical biochemical genetics, and internal medicine. His research interests involve the complex genetics of pulmonary disease. His research has included the study of genetic causes of primary ciliary dyskinesia. Working with collaborators in pediatric pulmonology, he also studies the application of genomic sequencing to the diagnosis of individuals with childhood interstitial lung disease.
