I use Iterative Indirect Immunofluorescent Imaging (4i) and computational analysis to study the spatial and temporal dynamics of cellular senescence in human cells. My work helps to elucidate mechanisms of senescence maturation and explain how or why heterogeneity in this cell state arises. I am also co-working with Dr. Brian Diekman to adapt these 4i studies for primary synovial fibroblasts.
