Several STEP UP Scholars, VLT members, and DPT students showed their support this past March at the annual MS Walk in Raleigh. Special thanks to first-year STEP UP Scholar Brynne Gould for her coordinating and planning efforts with UNC’s Department of Neurology.

For the 2021 annual MS Walk in Raleigh held virtually on April 10th, The UNC Neuro Heels were able to raise $3,307.94–surpassing our initial $2,000 goal.

Together, they launched the MS STEP UP program more than ten years ago, with the first cohort of MS-trained students graduating in 2010. Recently, they have both endowed the Angela and Marty Rosenberg MS STEP UP Endowment for Multiple Sclerosis and Neurodegenerative Diseases in Physical Therapy, a long-lasting step toward improving health care and patient outcomes for people living with MS.
