The tenth annual Human Movement Science Research Symposium was held March 1, 2013, at UNC Chapel Hill.
Students, faculty, researchers, and clinicians from across the region attend the symposium each year to present and discuss current research in an open and friendly environment. The American Society for Biomechanics (ASB), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Tekscan, and Don Joy Orthopedics were sponsors of the 2013 event.
Dr. Clive Pai, Professor, Department of Physical Therapy, and Director of the Clinical Gait and Movement Analysis Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Chicago, delivered the keynote address “Learning From Falling: Inoculate Older Adults Against Falls.”
