The Physician Assistant Studies program, housed in the Department of Allied Health Sciences, held its second-ever commencement ceremony on December 15, 2018.

Gary Taylor, second-year Physician Assistant Studies student, joined the PA program after serving in the U.S. Army for 10-and-a-half years. As a Special Forces medical sergeant and combat diver, Taylor was the medical technician for the dive team.

Charles Locke, a second-year student in Physician Assistant Studies, has received a scholarship from the North Carolina Association of Health Care Recruitment (NCAHCR). The NCAHCR recognized Locke’s achievement at its winter meeting, held in early November.
