Cassi Frank, MMSc, PA-C, CPPS, is the Director of Quality and Safety for the Department of Medicine where she is focused on improving quality and safety in the inpatient and outpatient settings as well as in transitions of care. Drawing on her background as a physician assistant and her training in healthcare quality and human factors engineering, she leads initiatives to enhance patient safety, clinical decision-making, and implementation of emerging technologies. Cassi is particularly interested in how user-centered design and AI transparency can strengthen clinician trust, reduce diagnostic error, and support safer care delivery.
