Dr. Dan Park is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of North Carolina. He serves as the Associate Chief Medical Officer for UNC Children’s, the Medical Director of the Pediatric Emergency Department, and a Lead Informatics Physician for the Information Services Division (ISD).
Dr. Park completed his pediatric residency at Yale, followed by fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Emergency Ultrasound at the Medical University of South Carolina. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia and an MBA from UNC Pembroke.
Dr. Park collaborates with colleagues to improve emergency department and Children’s Hospital operations across the UNC system. He focuses on leveraging informatics tools to enhance patient care, increase efficiency, and strengthen safety. He lives in Chapel Hill with his wife, a pediatric cardiologist at Duke, and their three daughters.
