Dr. Danny T.Y. Wu, is a clinical and health informatics scholar. He joined UNC in January 2025 as an Associate Professor at the UNC School of Information and Library Science (SILS) and a core faculty member of the Carolina Health Informatics Program (CHIP). Wu’s research integrates human-centered design and evaluation, process and text mining, applied machine learning, and visual analytics to develop intelligent information systems that improve healthcare delivery and quality as well as patient outcomes.
