Dr. David Mauro serves as the Division Chief of Interventional Radiology within the UNC Department of Radiology. He is a member of the ACGME Radiology Review Committee. An Associate Professor at the UNC School of Medicine, Dr. Mauro is a board-certified Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist focusing on the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma and hemorrhoids. His non-clinical work focuses on operational efficiency, quality improvement, service-line growth, and education.
