Emma Comadoll, MPH is a medical student at the UNC School of Medicine and a graduate of the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, where she earned her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Leadership in Practice. Her experience spans clinical research, public health, and direct patient care.

She has contributed to cardiology clinical trials as a Clinical Research Coordinator for UNC Cardiology and gained hands-on clinical experience in dermatology, assisting physicians during Mohs surgery, and managing outpatient care. Additionally, she currently serves as a project manager for the Marisco Lung Institute, coordinating research initiatives focused on pulmonary health. Her research experience includes projects on lipid-lowering therapies, asthma in athletes, and improving access to care in women’s health.

Emma currently serves as Co-President of both the Cardiology Interest Group and the Interprofessional Education and Practice program at UNC, promoting collaboration across health disciplines. In addition, she is the Co-Director and Founder of a free cardiology clinic serving underserved populations in North Carolina. A former Division I volleyball player, Emma brings a team-oriented, equity-driven approach to patient care, education, and research.
