Erin Huprich, is the Director of Clinical Operations for the UNC Health APP Center in Chapel Hill and the APP Manager for OB/GYN. Her areas of focus include clinical operations management, advanced practice professional development, and quality improvement initiatives in women’s health.
Erin holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing and is currently pursuing her PhD in Healthcare Administration and Education at William Carey University. She has spent much of her career at UNC Health serving in the Department of OB/GYN, first as a nursing assistant, then as an L&D nurse, and for the last 9 years as a nurse practitioner with Maternal Fetal Medicine. She is a past IHQI scholar, where her quality improvement work focused on anemia in pregnancy. Ms. Huprich is particularly interested in the complexity of high-risk obstetric care and leveraging quality improvement methodologies to enhance both patient and provider experiences.
