Dr. Jennifer Tang completed her undergraduate degree at Rice University, medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, and OB-GYN residency at Brigham & Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital. She then moved to North Carolina in 2010 to complete a Master’s in clinical research at the UNC School of Public Health and a Fellowship in Family Planning. She lived in Lilongwe, Malawi from 2012-2017, where she helped start the country’s first OB-GYN residency program, before moving back to Chapel Hill in 2017. Her research interests include maternal health disparities, contraception, and cervical cancer prevention.
