Julia Woodson was promoted in July 2025 to System Executive Director for Quality Improvement for Community Hospitals. She joined UNC REX Healthcare in March 2017. She has extensive experience in performance improvement across three major health systems, focusing on throughput, efficiency, and clinical quality in inpatient settings. Julia holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from NC State University, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a bachelor’s degree in health administration. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, golfing, pickleball, cooking, dog walking, and spending time with her family.
