Mahdi Sesay is a third-year medical student at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at East Carolina University, earning degrees in Public Health and Chemistry.
He is particularly drawn to quality improvement, as he believes it is an essential skill that will greatly enhance his effectiveness as a future physician. He is currently interested in pursuing Internal Medicine, with potential subspecialties including Critical Care, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, or Rheumatology.
