Nina Wallace is an MD-PhD student at UNC, currently in her second year of PhD training in Epidemiology. Originally from Philadelphia, she earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Maternal and Child Health Education from Howard University.

Her clinical interests are in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, with a focus on supporting children, adolescents, and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) as they navigate healthcare transitions. She aspires to build a career as a clinician-scientist, integrating clinical practice with public health research to advance equitable and evidence-based care for individuals with IDD and their families.
