Shantanu Srivatsa is a 3rd year medical student in the MD/PhD program currently interested in pursuing a career in Internal Medicine/Cardiology. He was drawn to Quality Improvement work from his background in Public Health, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic where he noted the many inefficiencies and gaps in systems which prevented individuals from accessing adequate care such as testing, vaccines, or treatment. As a CLQS scholar, Shantanu is working to improve triage and delivery of care for patients with chest pain in the emergency setting.
