The Center for Health Innovation is collaborating with the UNC School of Medicine Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development to offer awards that fund pilot projects aimed at promoting the well-being of faculty, staff, and/or students at the UNC School of Medicine as well as medical trainees serving within the UNC Health Care System.
The grant will allow Dr. Don Rosenstein and Dr. Stephanie Wheeler to continue studying the impact of financial navigation services to help patient cope with the financial burden of cancer care by testing their model in five rural cancer centers.
A solution to electronically capture patient reported outcomes remotely and in-clinic, with real-time use by the care team to improve patient outcomes.
