UNC Health Care has been recognized as ‘Most Wired Advanced’ by the American Hospital Association for our effective use of information technology to improve patient care and clinical integration.

In March 2018 UNC Health Care received HIMSS Analytics Stage 7 Certification for our abilities in the areas of EMR completeness, data/analytics, governance, disaster recovery, privacy and security.

The UNC Center for Health Innovation is included in a new list of 58 Hospitals and Health Systems with Innovation Programs, published by Becker’s Hospital Review. This is the third year in a row that the Center has been included on Becker’s list.
