Lisa Long serves as Director of Curricular Pathways and is passionate about helping students along their journey to and through medical school. She finds particular joy in helping students eager to serve in community health and rural and underserved communities. She appreciates the opportunity to engage with students and physicians along the path from pre-med programs and beyond medical school. Lisa earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Gardner-Webb University and a Master of Science in Library Science from UNC. Her professional and volunteer experiences center on supporting students who have lacked access, resources, and opportunities.
