Dr. Lorenzo Spencer is a Mississippi native that attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he received his bachelor’s in biology. He then went on to the University of Mississippi Medical Center where he obtained his master’s degree in biomedical sciences and his medical degree. Sparked by a desire to provide care in the rural setting, he completed the rural track program by way if the family medicine residency program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a newly minted sports medicine physician, he hopes to bring a comprehensive approach to medical care in rural communities.
