Maggie Carver
Rural Pathways Program Coordinator
About
Maggie Carver was born and raised in Burlington, North Carolina and is a two-time UNC graduate with a BA in Human Development and Family Studies and a MAT in Elementary Education. She is a die-hard UNC basketball fan (Go Heels!), an avid reader, and loves spending time with her dogs. Prior to joining the UNC School of Medicine, she taught elementary school in Durham Public Schools for 6 years.
In her role as a coordinator for the Community Health Training Program, she helps with event logistics, clinic payments, POCUS devices, and is a resource for students throughout their time in the program. She has loved getting to know the students and supporting a program with such an important mission.
