About

Prior to joining UNC in the Winter of 2024, my professional experience has primarily been in healthcare. Most recently I was the Director of Resident Services on the Management Team for a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Burlington, NC. My undergraduate studies at Elon University and graduate studies at Duke University, helped develop my passion for serving the citizens of North Carolina.

In my spare time, my husband and I enjoy traveling to new places and when not in a new place, you can usually find us enjoying the waves on the Crystal Coast or the freshwater at Hyco Lake. I also enjoy trying new recipes, spending time with family, and getting involved through volunteer work within the community.
