Welcome to the UNC Multidisciplinary Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Center

The UNC Multidisciplinary Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Center is a comprehensive care center for patients with ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. Care is provided by adult and pediatric gastroenterologists, colorectal surgeons, radiologists, and pathologists. The mission of our center is to provide state-of-the-art care for patients by facilitating access to highly-trained experts in inflammatory bowel disease management, offering novel treatments through clinical trials, and furthering patient and provider education. Our primary goal is the restoration of quality of life for patients with inflammatory bowel diseases, and our research efforts aim to broaden the current knowledge of pathogenesis and management of inflammatory bowel diseases in order to one day establish a cure.
