About
Dr. Jain is a member of the UNC Multidisciplinary Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Center. His clinical practice specializes in caring for patients with Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative colitis, and Microscopic colitis, including complex referral patients. He is involved in multiple clinical trials through the IBD Center. Dr. Jain has an academic interest in medical education, including teaching at the medical school, residency and fellowship level. Dr. Jain is director of the Advanced IBD Fellowship at UNC, which provides specialized training in the care of patients with Crohn’s and Ulcerative colitis. Dr. Jain is an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation (CCF). He has served on multiple national committees with the AGA and CCF and has worked on multiple professional and patient-focused educational initiatives.
