About
Dr. Peery is a board-certified gastroenterologist and clinical investigator. Her research is focused on understudied but common gastrointestinal diseases with a particular focus on diverticular disease. Her group has published original research in journals including Gastroenterology, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, American Journal of Gastroenterology, and Annals of Internal Medicine. Dr. Peery has written invited reviews for the British Medical Journal and Gastroenterology, and she has been an invited speaker at national and international meetings including DDW, UEG, ACG, and ACP. She has been awarded research funding from the National Institutes of Health and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
