Cary C. Cotton, MD, MPH
Assistant Professor of Medicine
Areas of Interest
I have a broad interest in clinical gastroenterology and a research interest in Barrett’s esophagus, eosinophilic esophagitis, and esophageal motility disorders.
About
I diagnose and treat a variety of gastrointestinal diseases and perform endoscopy and colonoscopy in inpatient and outpatient settings under the supervision of our division’s attending physicians. I support evidence-based medicine, which makes medical decisions based on the best available scientific research. I strive to use clear presentation of the knowns and unknowns in medicine to support patient autonomy to make decisions in line with their individual goals.
