About
Dr. Ritaccio is a gastroenterologist specialized in the care of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases. She is a member of University of North Carolina’s Multidisciplinary Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center, where she also participates in clinical trials. She has interests in noninvasive strategies for disease surveillance as well as the intersection of sexual and reproductive health in patients with IBD.
In addition to clinical care, Dr. Ritaccio also has a strong focus on medical education and serves as the Associate Program Director for the Gastroenterology & Hepatology Fellowship.
