About
I believe in a patient-centered approach and strive to involve my patients in their health care decisions. I am passionate about medical education and try to teach my patients about their liver disease, reassure when possible, and help them navigate our overly complex health care system. I am actively involved in the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, where I have impacted hepatology training and educated providers and patients about COVID-19 and liver disease. I am board-certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Transplant Hepatology, and Clinical Informatics and am interested in helping clinicians use the electronic health record more efficiently.
