About
My mother had early onset breast cancer and it shaped my desire to help treat individuals with cancer and help their families during a difficult time. I want to be a difference maker.Education is power and understanding the cause, treatment plan, best testing approach and possible outcomes is the best path forward. I take my time to make sure the patient and anyone the patient brings understands the plan and how genetics can best help their specific and individual care. Specifically, breast and prostate cancer are my special interests as well as understanding somatic testing results in the lens of germline testing and helping the patient understand their results and how that may impact treatment as well as their family members. Outside of work I like to cook, upcycle furniture, watch the Dodgers and travel with my husband and three sons.
