About

As a clinical genetic counselor, Zahra works with patients throughout various clinics at UNC. She sees patients for suspected hereditary cancer syndromes, adults in the general genetics clinic, as well as patients in the hematology clinic who are at-risk for or suspected to have Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT). In addition to clinic, her faculty responsibilities include supervision of genetic counseling students, participation in research, as well as clinical teaching to students as well as fellow colleagues. In her free time, Zahra likes to read and do Zumba and ceramics.
