Alix Boisson is a PhD student in the Health Policy and Management department minoring in Implementation Science. Her research interests center on effective strategies to distribute vaccines in low-resource settings, such as sub-Saharan Africa, and strengthen health systems. Using mixed-methods approaches, she hopes to identify barriers to delivering birth dose vaccines and address them by developing implementation strategies at the community and facility levels in Kinshasa Province, the DRC.
