Brian is an MPH student in the Applied Epidemiology program at the Gillings School of Global Public Health. He received his B.S. in Biology from James Madison University (Go Dukes!). During his time at JMU, he worked under Dr. George Vidal, whose primary research focuses on the developmental neurobiology of an Autism Spectrum Disorders candidate gene. Within IDEEL, Brian works under Dr. Jessica Lin, whose primary research focuses on the asymptomatic malaria reservoir in Tanzania.
