Julia is an Applied Epidemiology MPH student at the Gillings School of Global Public Health. She graduated from the University at Albany—SUNY in 2022, with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in English. She previously worked on transmission dynamics of viral pathogens with Dr. David Rasmussen at North Carolina State University. She currently works under Dr. Jessica Lin, focusing on Project TranSMIT and the asymptomatic malaria reservoir in Tanzania.
