Department of Epidemiology
Molly Deutsch-Feldman is a PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina. She graduated from Wesleyan University in 2012 where she majored in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and minored in International Relations. As an undergraduate she spent six months studying community health in Durban, South Africa through the School for International Training. After graduating, Molly worked as a Research Assistant at Rockefeller University in the Laboratory of the Biology of Addictive Diseases. In May of 2016, Molly graduated from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public health with a Masters of Science in Epidemiology, focused on infectious disease. A Johns Hopkins, Molly worked with the Southern Africa ICEMR group, studying the spatial epidemiology of malaria in Southern Zambia.
Molly’s other interests include baking (especially for IDEEL events), running, and playing fiddle.
