Laboratory Technician

Srijana is a laboratory technician who graduated from UNC in 2020 with a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. With her interest in infectious diseases affecting low and middle-income countries, she started working on Dr. Lin’s malaria project. Post-graduation, she has been involved in SARS-CoV-2 studies including seroprevalence in Tanzania, and has continued to work in malaria.

Srijana also works part-time at McLendon Labs at UNC Hospitals as a medical lab technologist and will be pursuing medical school in the fall. Outside work, her latest hobby includes watching Tiktok and obsessing over baby goats.
