About

From the midwest, have lived in Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. Undergraduate/IM residency at Indiana University and my MD/PhD at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I chose UNC for ID fellowship because of the reputation for top notch education and global health research. My infectious disease interests are primarily emerging infections and global health. I enjoy all outdoor water activities, reading and virtual boxing.

Fellowship Project(s): My research has been focused on measuring the seroprevalence of antibodies to viral hemorrhagic fever viruses in Liberia. I am currently working on starting a project focused on retrospective analysis of complex intra-abdominal infections in OPAT patients.
