I love being a nurse practitioner because I have the opportunity, every day, to build long term relationships with my patients and to find ways together to achieve their health goals. I am passionate about HIV care, women’s health, and sexual health, and have spent much of my career educating people about their health conditions and empowering them to take an active role in their health care. I have had the privilege to work in a variety of outpatient settings, including the health department and women’s health clinics.
