About
My research interests are focused on the intersection between incarceration and public health. Substantively, my research includes broad assessments of disease prevalence and use of healthcare and mortality among prison-involved populations. I have also conducted several studies examining the use of health services among HIV-infected prisoners and released prisoners. Methodologically, most of my research utilizes the linkage and analysis of large administrative databases to address questions of public health significance for correctional populations and the communities to which they return.
