About

Dr. Jonathan Juliano is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He is also a professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Gillings School of Global Public Health and a preceptor in UNC’s Curriculum in Genetics and Molecular Biology. Dr. Juliano is the Associate Program Director of Research and Professional Development for the UNC Infectious Disease Fellowship program and Associate Director of the Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases. Since joining the faculty at UNC, Dr. Juliano has been very active in the education of medical students, graduate students, residents and fellows. He runs a molecular parasitology and genetics laboratory in MBRB.
