About

I grew up in Long Island, NY and then traveled quite a bit for my training – medical school around Chicago and the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, residency in Detroit at Henry Ford Hospital, and then I worked as a Hospitalist for 2 years at the University of Pennsylvania before completing a fellowship in infectious diseases at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. I’ve enjoyed each and every city and am looking forward to exploring Chapel Hill and the surrounding areas. I chose UNC ID for my Transplant ID training because of the stellar faculty! I have an interest in the gut microbiome, and how dysbiosis may contribute to immune dysregulation and infectious complications after transplant. In my spare time I can be found hiking, jogging, cooking, or browsing local farmers markets.
