Dr. Gillespie is a board-certified nephrologist who completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of North Carolina and her nephrology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. She currently serves as the Chief Medical and Strategy Officer for the International Society of Glomerular Disease. She has held a variety of leadership positions in the kidney community, including at the Kidney Health Initiative, a public-private partnership between the FDA and American Society of Nephrology; NephCure; and the National Kidney Foundation.
