About
My clinical and research interests surround women’s health within nephrology- including contraception, fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum care. Ultimately, my goal is to improve maternal and fetal outcomes for women with chronic kidney disease while also preserving kidney function and reducing long-term cardiovascular risk. Along with the division of maternal fetal medicine, we hold a monthly multidisciplinary clinic for women with CKD where we offer preconception counseling as well as comprehensive pregnancy and postpartum care. I also hold clinic regularly at the UNC Nephrology Panther Creek clinic location in Cary, NC and spend time in the hospital on our nephrology consult service.
