About
Dr. Detwiler’s interests include all clinical aspects of kidney transplantation with particular emphasis on BK virus nephropathy, transplant focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, and promotion of kidney donation. His research efforts are directed toward the study of these clinical topics as well as investigation of the mechanisms involved in acute and chronic renal transplant injury and possible prevention and treatment strategies to minimize this process.
