Areas of Interest

Clinical education, critical care nephrology and continuous renal replacement therapy, decongestion of decompensated heart failure, point-of-care ultrasonography, complex acid-base and electrolyte disorders

About

Dr. Bonner is a nephrologist and clinical educator in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension. He has particular interest in inpatient nephrology, including acute heart failure and nephrology care in the ICU. As an educator, he serves as the course director for the Department of Medicine Acting Internship at UNC Chapel Hill and is a member of the UNC Internal Medicine Residency Core Faculty.
