Originally from Medellín, Colombia, I’m an avid coffee and tea enthusiast who enjoys traveling the world with my wife and hiking local trails with our dog, Lexi. When I’m not outdoors, you’ll usually find me cooking something new or reading a good book.
After completing my Family Medicine residency at the University of Miami, I relocated to the Triangle area to pursue a fellowship in Geriatrics at UNC. During my Geriatrics fellowship, I had the chance to work closely with the Palliative Care team and really connected with the people, culture, and sense of community. It quickly became clear that this was the right place for me to continue my training!
