About
I am fortunate to do a little bit of everything. As a clinician, I do inpatient work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit and Pulmonary Consults. As a researcher, I primarily do clinical research in COPD and pulmonary vasculitis. My primary endeavor is in education. I help teach medical students, residents, and fellows, with different involvement at each level. For medical students I help the Internal Medicine educators–increasing communication across UNC sites, advocating for IM educators in the School of Medicine, and helping implement the SOM curriculum across all four years. For fellows, I am the fellowship program director, helping with all aspects of education and administration for our specialty trainees.
