About
Dr. Patel is a member of the UNC Interstitial Lung Disease Program as well as the UNC Center for Bronchiectasis. His clinical expertise includes both of these areas as well as general pulmonology and critical care medicine. His main academic interest is in medical education. He serves as a Foundation Phase Academic Coach for first and second year medical students and in this roll helps students optimize study strategies, mindset, and time management in order to do their best in medical school. He is also interested in curriculum development for residents and fellows in broad areas of pulmonary and critical care medicine and is particularly passionate about improving burnout amongst trainees in clinically intense environments such as critical care medicine.
